1. **Eligibility:** The contest is open to all individuals, professional designers, and design teams, residing in Strathmore or Wheatland County. Regardless of age.

2. **Submission Deadline:** All entries must be submitted by January, 31st 2024  via email to comms@theswcc.ca.

3. **Theme:** The logo design should embody the essence of the Strathmore and Wheatland region, reflecting its culture, history, and the spirit of commerce. It should also exhibit a modern and timeless design.

4. **Design Specifications:**

   - The logo must be original and not infringe on any copyrights or trademarks.

   - Submissions should be in vector format (e.g., AI, EPS, or SVG) for scalability.

   - The design should work well in both color and black-and-white versions.

   - Avoid using gradients, as the logo may be used in various applications.

   - Keep the design simple and clean for versatility.

5. **Color Palette:** Contestants are encouraged to use a color palette that represents the Strathmore and Wheatland region. However, the design should be adaptable to grayscale as well.

6. **Typography:** If you include text in the logo, use easily readable fonts and ensure the text is legible when scaled down.

7. **Logo Usage:** The winning design will become the property of the Strathmore Wheatland Chamber of Commerce and may be used in various promotional materials, both print and digital.

8. **Multiple Submissions:** Each participant or team may submit multiple entries.

Selection Process:

1. The Strathmore Wheatland Chamber of Commerce Communications Committee will look at all submissions and create a short list for the entire board of directors to vote on and select a winner.

2. Entries will be shortlisted based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, and overall design quality.

3. The winning entry will be selected by the SWCC BOD, and their decision will be final.
